Celebration in Progress

The celebration game I’m making, Celebrate FTW!, is coming along. In fact in some ways it’s really close to done. The major thing remaining is my usual bête noire, the sound stuff. In particular I need retro-styled sounds of cheering, vuvuzelas, fireworks exploding, and a couple of competing soundtracks. I’m working away at it, but as per usual it’s not my forte, so that aspect of the game isn’t quite right yet. The visual elements, on the other hand, are coming together in a nice, busy-looking way (as you can kind of see from the image associated with this post). In the end I think the game’s going to be pretty alright, though I must admit my mind is half-looking into the future and the next game already. Mind you, that always happens.
