Play: Castle of the Red Prince

IndieGames.com pointed us all at Castle of the Red Prince today. And I played it. And you should too, basically, is my message here. The game is a text adventure, which might be a mark against in your book potentially, but it’s one of the more accessible text adventures I can think of and it has a particularly delightful way of handling space and time that is well worth experiencing. In essence you’re everywhere in the game at the same time, which leads to quite a dreamlike quality to the world, but also I think a very literary-feeling one, if that makes sense to you (it may not to me). At any rate, there is a game, I think it does something important with your relationship to space, you should play it. Done.
