v r 2 was made in Unity (using First Person Drifter by Ben Esposito with a couple of small edits) and Blender. The sound effects you can’t hear were manipulated in Audacity. v r 2 is based in part on the work of Gregor Schneider and in part on the work of Donald Judd, specifically his work “100 untitled works in mill aluminum” in Marfa, Texas.
You can read my writing about v r 2 or check out its press kit. v r 2 was covered by AnaitGames before it was even released! It has also featured on Oujevipo, Kill Screen, Warp Door, and over the net.
