Visiting Designer

These days I'm affiliated with the Institute of Digital Games at the University of Malta. I previously worked at the Center for Computer Games Research at IT University of Copenhagen in Denmark and taught the experimental interaction and programming for game designers courses there.

I have a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. My Ph.D. was about video game values. My M.Sc. was about user-interface metaphors.

Game Maker and Critic

I started making games at the start of 2011 and I like it. You can play them on the games page.

I write a blog (formerly called inininoutoutout) which is mostly my take on making games and playing games.

I have another website, which hosts my non-game art (formerly called stimulusresponse).

I wrote a book called How to Play a Video Game. You can read more about it on the book page.
