Once again I find that I’ve managed to produce a new game. This one’s a little unusual and probably not at all fun. But I maintain that it’s interesting. And that’s what counts?
Don’t ask. I guess that “Hello Nails!” is the title of an episode of Kath & Kim and I guess that phrase has been stuck in my head for a few years now and so I had to expunge it like so.
The results of forcing myself to draw a superfast comic against all the slings and arrows of outrageous laziness and fecklessness. Had to quickly look up “feckless”. It’s accurate.
Shit, I’ve got to be honest with you – I’m scraping the barrel here to get a Monday update out. That said, this did make me chortle when I drew it, so that’s good enough for me.
Desperation comic! I fell behind drawing stuff in my notebook because I was lost in the endless trials of making Safety Instructions. And so!
Wrote the words randomly in a text file and I liked the cadence of it and the anticlimactic feel of actually getting a response, so here it is as a comic instead of just words.
Every once in a blue moon when I finish a new game I’m allowed to post it here on stimulusresponse to get me out of drawing a comic for the day, and voila, today there is a blue moon!
Seriously, this guy looks like I feel right now. Wee hours of the morning. Eyes gritty after too much game development obsession. Sometimes life’s like a fire-hydrant.
Bing bang boom. It’s late and I am weary from programming all day and I’m very glad I drew this some other time so I can just stick it up here and be done with it.
I like the sentiment here, I like the idea of a cartoon caption being kind of retroactively mean to the person in the cartoon. Good things happening there. Yes.
