I sat in front of Anselm Kiefer’s work “Maikäfer flieg” and listened to what people said. Here is a transcription of that, accurate or not.
I drew three of the quilts on display at the exhibition The Quilts of Gee’s Bend, DeYoung Museum, San Francisco, 15 July – 31 December 2006.
I wrote a text to go along with the images of machines in “Machinery Seller: Ex Demo, Used Machinery and Equpiment. December 2006, volume 4, number: 11″ and then made that a comic.
These comics are derived from the works in the shows Ronnie van Hout “Jingle Bowels” and Rohan Wealleans “Where is Blitzen baby?” at Hamish McKay Gallery, 2 – 23 December 2006.
