A total throwaway joke about the classic line in The Usual Suspects. I decided that the devil “pulling a trick” sounded way more like skateboarding than something high and mighty. Although, skateboarding’s pretty mighty.
One of those literal renderings of a popular phrase. Originally I had the people thinking something like “this is shit”, but Rilla suggested they’d actually be thinking about what they were doing.
This one is pretty much Rilla’s idea – she hit on the idea of a combinatorics of the (real) shopping list I went off to the supermarket with. I’d love to say I bought all the combinations, but I did not do that. Stuck with the vanilla list.
Seriously, my hand does look this old. I am not joking around about the state of my hand. I spend whole minutes staring at my old hand and weeping quietly.
Flowcharts have been in vogue on the internet for quite some time now, and I felt it was time I “got mine”. This is the flowchart that came to mind, in consultation with the always procedural Rilla.
From an awkward poem about what I could see on the kitchen table to a comic with extremely literal drawings to go with the poem – that’s how show-business is done these days: fast and furious and probably without due consideration.
Here is an animated GIF of a poem about writing a poem about space, about space. It is pretty deep and meaningful, so shield your eyes if you’re not ready for that.
Another poem comic about aliens, this one with an unhappy ending. I wrote about it on inininoutoutout. Best drawings of raisins that I’ve ever done.
One of those desperation one-liner drawings born of a late night after having guests over and so on. Not clear where it came from.
My first cartoon “in Danish”. At the very least, I made a kind of Danish pun. Must be subconsciously integrating. This one came together easily as an idea, and I think the notion of a ghost sausage is a pretty powerful one, frankly.
