I spent far, far too long on this mythologically-accurate Flash game. It’s not complex, but it gives you a little taste of, well, hell. One version of it, anyway.
It’s an interactive version of the comic of a couple of days ago. That’s because I’m a triple threat: I draw, I code, and I dance. I’m dancing right now.
A simple comic based on a poem I wrote during my (theoretically) daily morning poetry sessions. I didn’t even cut and paste the image, I redrew it each time. Because I’m a craftsman.
A simple one from my notebooks, drawn while in London recently. Sometimes it’s nice to kick back and draw something minimalist. Makes me think about games in this style, though, too.
This one’s based on the collision map for You’ve Got Malaise. I’ve removed the multiple avatars and added a “no touching” mechanic which you should try out by… touching.
A world made of architectural drawings of our little neighborhood stitched together with the little fake people being avatars to move around. There’s some solid architecture, and some not. Have a look around.
Series of three comics drawn in something of a hurry based on three poems from a series I wrote recently in which each poem started “The other woman” and went from there.
Another in the new series of interactive things based on learning from a book. This one is a look at determinism and limited choices, I suppose. It’s a slight disappointment to me. Life, that is…
Saw oh so many of those very French stripy t-shirts in Paris. Go figure. As they blurred and seethed before my eyes I realised I wanted to make this particular animation.
An interactive thing for the first time in a while. I’m working through a book on elementary game design stuff and trying to make it be like I want it to be. The book’s example was a pig on the moon, by the way.
