Once again I find that I’ve managed to produce a new game. This one’s a little unusual and probably not at all fun. But I maintain that it’s interesting. And that’s what counts?
Every once in a blue moon when I finish a new game I’m allowed to post it here on stimulusresponse to get me out of drawing a comic for the day, and voila, today there is a blue moon!
Because I am allowed to, I’m posting Let There Be Smite! as today’s entry for stimulusresponse (which I’m trying to update Monday, Wednesday, Friday these days). It’s a little game I made. Play it.
I made a game called GuruQuest that you should totally play. It’s downloadable for Mac, Windows, and Linux, and I’m fairly proud of it. It’ll solve all your problems, too.
An experimental platformer game in which you make the world yourself through (bright) light patterns in your webcam. Mostly an experiment in letting the player do the experimenting.
I spent far, far too long on this mythologically-accurate Flash game. It’s not complex, but it gives you a little taste of, well, hell. One version of it, anyway.
It’s an interactive version of the comic of a couple of days ago. That’s because I’m a triple threat: I draw, I code, and I dance. I’m dancing right now.
This one’s based on the collision map for You’ve Got Malaise. I’ve removed the multiple avatars and added a “no touching” mechanic which you should try out by… touching.
A world made of architectural drawings of our little neighborhood stitched together with the little fake people being avatars to move around. There’s some solid architecture, and some not. Have a look around.
Another in the new series of interactive things based on learning from a book. This one is a look at determinism and limited choices, I suppose. It’s a slight disappointment to me. Life, that is…
