An interactive thing for the first time in a while. I’m working through a book on elementary game design stuff and trying to make it be like I want it to be. The book’s example was a pig on the moon, by the way.
The idea of ‘interactive euphemisms’ has become immensely appealing lately, largely in thanks to a conversation with Tyler about the subject. He wants to build them for real, but I just went for Flash animation this time.
I set myself the challenge of writing a little story where there’s a word-intersection for each line. Obviously this was influenced by my present obsession with the New York Times crossword.
I like the idea of defeatist user interface, a kind of antidote to all the hardcore definitiveness of most commands available to us in computer interfaces.
