Another random sketch from the notebook. I think I was trying to draw a proper face and it all went horribly wrong and the easiest thing to do was make it a bad potato.

Doodled this in a notebook while in Montréal and only just managed to make it digital and beautiful. It’s all about intimacy.

Just a horrible one-liner that has been stuck in my head for way too many months. It may not be pretty, but at least I don’t have to live with it alone anymore.

I had this odd moment on a hot day in Canada where I was in the bathroom drinking water and imagining I was some rugged man in a movie, drinking water very manfully.

We actually own a couple of these massively racist buttons and I don’t think we’re even sure why we have them at all. It led to us wondering how you get rid of such a thing without just throwing it out.

Saw a super-grouchy looking older lady on Bank street in Ottawa while sitting in a Starbucks. She had on this highly co-ordinated outfit and it just seemed correlated with her grouch factor. Plus Judy Dench.

Drew this one while doodling in the library in Wellington trying to come up with something lightly amusing. I think I accomplished that goal.

From a sketch in my notebook done at the Media in Transition 6 conference held at MIT in Boston. I added the final three couplets after the fact, which is why they’re not quite so nice.

I read ‘Beauty and the Beast’ to Amy (my supervisor’s daughter) the other night and it led to this sparkling piece of wordplay which led to this oh-so-insightful drawing.
