This one’s straight out of the notebook (sorry about the horrible quality – it’s a cellphone picture). I had become sure I could actually draw when I drew a good shoe on the previous page, this page shows me unravelling.

I had this ‘stream of consciousness’ thing in a text file on my computer for ages. I wanted it to be a comic, but it ended up just being speech balloons. I think it lost something in the translation.

This comes from one of my “morning pages” written on 23 June 2008. I have very little to say about it.

A text from my “morning pages” notebook. It had some quite nice ranting qualities and so I wanted to pair it with someone shouting from a soapbox. And I was the only one around to take the job on.

The imagery is from the packaging for a laser pointer, and the text is just from a notebook scribbling. They combine to form something I’m not that happy with.

I often write random declaration in all caps in my notebooks. These are all of those statements from my notebook of 26 August 2006 to 3 November 2006.
